The Minds 2 Change Scholarship supports young women in our 2026 focus countries through the final years of high school — the period where financial pressure most often forces talented students to step away from their education.
We chose these four countries because each holds a deep pool of emerging talent that deserves real investment.
About the scholarship
2
We are not a grades-driven scholarship.
We're looking for young women who show curiosity, character, resilience, and a clear sense of what they want to build — for themselves and for the people around them.
When we read your application, we pay attention to:
-
Authenticity — honest, personal answers rather than what you think we want to hear
-
Clarity of thought — how you understand yourself, others, and the world
-
Vision and purpose — your sense of what you want to do and why it matters
-
Resilience — how you've grown through challenges
Grades and achievements help us understand your context, but they are never the main thing we evaluate.

How to apply
The application is a short online form. You'll work through a few sections:
-
Basic info and contact details
-
Academic background
-
A few short essay questions about who you are, how you think, and what you hope to build
-
An optional creative submission (writing, art, photography, music, video, or a personal project — whatever helps us understand you better)
-
References (optional)
We review applications as they come in, so earlier is better than later. Selected applicants will be contacted directly. There is no interview.
4
-
Be honest, not polished. Simple, clear answers are stronger than long or formal ones.
-
Short and thoughtful beats long and impressive. Suggested word counts are just guides — we won't count.
-
Write freely first, then tighten. Reflect on what actually happened and what you learned, rather than trying to craft the "right" answer.
-
If you're not sure whether you're a strong applicant — apply anyway. This scholarship is built for young women whose potential isn't obvious on paper.
Tips for writing a strong application

This application isn't designed to measure perfection. It's designed to understand people — how you think, how you've grown, and where you're trying to go.
Every applicant brings a unique story. There is no single path to being considered strong. Approach this with honesty and confidence in your own experience.
