A. Quhafa
Executive Director
The Executive Director of M2C Scholars provides strategic leadership for the organization and oversees the development, administration, and long-term vision of its scholarship programs and initiatives. The role focuses on advancing the organization’s mission of supporting high-potential women through accessible, values-driven educational opportunities that emphasize character, vision, resilience, and future impact beyond traditional academic metrics. Responsibilities include organizational leadership, partnership development, program oversight, fundraising, and ensuring that the scholarship selection process remains aligned with the organization’s philosophy and standards. The Executive Director also serves as a public representative of the organization and helps guide its growth, outreach, and long-term impact.
A. Faruq
Scholarship Director
The Scholarship Director oversees the design, administration, and strategic development of the M2C Scholars scholarship programs across all academic streams. The role is responsible for managing the scholarship selection process, coordinating evaluation standards, supporting selection committees, and ensuring that all programs remain aligned with the organization’s philosophy of recognizing potential beyond traditional academic metrics. The Scholarship Director also works closely with applicants, scholars, mentors, and organizational leadership to maintain a fair, thoughtful, and impactful scholarship experience. In addition, the position helps guide long-term program growth, outreach initiatives, and the continued development of values-driven scholarship opportunities for women at different stages of their academic and professional journey.
A. Murtada
Education Specialist
The Education Specialist supports the academic and developmental mission of M2C Scholars by contributing to the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of scholarship-related educational initiatives and applicant resources. The role focuses on understanding student development, learning pathways, mentorship opportunities, and the broader challenges faced by women across different stages of education. Responsibilities may include developing educational content, advising on applicant evaluation frameworks, supporting mentorship and enrichment programming, and helping ensure that scholarship initiatives remain accessible, meaningful, and aligned with the organization’s values. The Education Specialist also works collaboratively with leadership and program staff to strengthen the long-term educational impact of the organization.
